You guys are beginning to sound like Americans. Constant fear...! Shit happens and I am shocked too. I came back to Malaysia. The first week, murder that murder this.

Then when I went to KL I noticed that Klang Valley people has become as materialistic as some Singaporeans. Everywhere I go there are wannabees.

With incresed in wealth gap this is bound to happen. Just look at Indonesia! Malaysians are pursuing wealth and in doing so leave alot of people behind. Some of these people are under pressure to catch up. And the minority of them will commit crime. Society needs to understand them and help them rather than just whipping them up.

But live the life don't fear it. Be vigilant but don't be paranoid. In Britain, shits happen too. Last year a teenage girl got shot in the face for her cheap Nokia mobile. But I still walk at night.
